Show 4 f J Deaths and Funerals 4 . 1 , DEATHS. Thomas D.' Stephens, pioneer of 1S60, died at the residence of his daughter' Mrs. H. j. Davis, 256 West Fifth South' street, yesterday from leakage of the heart. He was horn at Garnfach, parish of Llandibie, Carmnrthanshire, 1 Wales February 28, 1S35, and came, to" America on the sailing ship George Washington in l.w. He crossed the plains in Captain Cap-tain John Smith's company in I860. He is survived by his widow, his daughter, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Announcement of funeral arrangements arrange-ments will be made later. At the family residence, 1138 Ninth East street, Mrs. Letitia Ann Banks, 63 years of age, died Tuesday. She was the wife of William F. Banks and the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Davis. Mrs. Banks was born in Spanish Fork and came to Salt Lake four years ago. Notice of funeral fu-neral later. Mrs. Emily MeRae Gerb'er, 49 years of age, died at the family residence at Granger on Tuesday from influenza. She is survived by her husband, Samuel L. Gerber, and seven children. Funeral services ser-vices wiil be held at the residence Friday Fri-day at I p. m. Interment in Wasatch Lawn cemetery. FUNERALS.
