The Twenty-second Twenty-second battery team from' Fort Douglas was defeated at the local ball park this afternooon'by tho Eureka nine, the scoro being 13 to 4. The soldiers were easy picking pick-ing for tho miners, and at no time was there any question as to the outcome of the game. Jensen was In the box for the local team and allowed the visitors ten hits, struck out nine men and walked one. Brooks and Hunter, the slab artists -for tho battery team, woro somewhat weak, end then their support was hardly as good as It should havo been.
