Show Club Secret Disclosed. Special to The Tribune. MODENA, Utah, Juno 19. Thursday evening was tho occasion of a thoroughly enjoyablo reception given by tho S. T & P. club of Modcna at tho Weathor Bureau observatory. Tho parlors, dining-room and halls were decorated with cedar, pine desert roses, bunting and the club colors. The cactus blossoms, pr desert roses, with their variegated shades of deep rod. pink and pale yellow tied with blue and white. The club's colors were lavishlngly used and gave a most unique, charming and pleasing effect to the "tout ensemble" of tho decorations. The name of tho club, slnco Its organization organiza-tion several weeka ago. has been a profound pro-found socret to the gentlemen of tho town and not until Thursday was the mystery solved. A feature of tho entertainment was the guessing contest, participated In by tho score of gentlemen who wore present pres-ent as to the significance of S. T. & P "Sunshine, truth and purity" was announced an-nounced as tho name of tho club after many guesses had been made. |
