Show FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR KESLER Funeral services were held at Minersville Min-ersville Saturday afternoon for Loten Kesler who was killed Tuesday, April 28, when he came in contact with a live wire while working near his pump on his South Milford farm. Bishop George Marshall conducted the services. The choir sang, "Abide with Me," and the opening prayer was offered by Brother Truman Rollins. Brother Fillmore of South Milford was the first speaker followed by G. H. Eyre. Mrs. Vivian Marshall and Sylva Rollins sang a duet, "Some time we'll understand." J. F. Tolton and Bishop George Marshall then spoke. The choir sang, "Some time some where." The closing prayer was given by C. K. Jameson. Bishop Marshall Mar-shall dedicated the grave. Kesler was born at Orton, Utah, March 14, 1877 and married at Beaver in 1899 to Elsie Mae Gillins of Minersville. Min-ersville. For the seventeen years following fol-lowing his marriage he farmed in Garfield county coming to Beaver County in 1916. Since then he has owned a store in Minersville, run a sheep ranch at Thermo and in 1919 settled in South Milford where he was engaged in farming at the time of his death. He is the father .of twelve children, nine of whom are living, Del-mar Del-mar L. Kesler and Mrs. Glen Blackner of Greenville, Mrs. Gordon Spidel and Irene Moore of Los Angeles, Lorin, Bernice, Dora, Maud and Mae Kesler of Milford. In addition to his children he is survived by his wife and his brothers and sisters, F. P. Kesler of Fillmore, Simeon Kesler of Milford and Mrs. Maud Veater of Salt Lake. |
