Show u SUNSHINE GIRLS PLAN DINNER FOR MOTHERS' DAY Plans for a dinner to be given in the Methodist church on Tuesday in honor of mothers' day were perfected at a meeting of the Sunshine Girls held Wednesdy night last week at the home of Beth and Gladys Coleman. The mothers of the members of the club and past members of the club are to be the guests at the dinner over v.'hich Beth Coleman is to preside as toastmistress. Mrs. A. E. Smith and Mrs. Freda Outzen are the mothers who will be called upon to give toasts while .rthene Howard and Gladys Coleman will also speak. A musical program has been planned plan-ned for the evening, Julia Hendrick-son Hendrick-son and her mother, Mrs. W. H. Hen-drickson Hen-drickson giving a piano duet, Vernice Smith accompanied by Helen Carlson, a vocal solo, Vepita Smith accompanied accompan-ied by Vernice Smith, . a saxaphone solo and Bernice Outzen accompanied by Mrs. Freda Outzen, a violin solo. Other business of the meeting was discussion of plans for initiation of two new members, Venita Smith and Julia Hendrickson. After adjournment refreshments were served to: Helen Carlson, Bernice Ber-nice Outzen, Julia Hendrickson, Ar-thene Ar-thene Howard, Vernice and Venita Smith. Beth and Gladys Coleman were the hostesses. o |
