Show Jaycees Plan Santa Claus Visit On December 24th Final arrangements were made this week for the expected arrival of Santa Claus and his helper from the North Pole on Tuesday, December De-cember 24, aboard one .of the new airplanes of the Parkalr Flying Service, Ser-vice, who have volunteered to flv St. Nick to our city for a very personal visit with all good boys and girls of Cedar City and vlclni'y. According to present plans, the plane carrying Santa Claus will arrive ar-rive over Cedar City at approximately approxim-ately 1 p. m. on Dec. 24, and will circle the city a number of times before landing on our main street. After landing, the plane will then be taken to the community Christmas Christ-mas .tree located on the Union Pacific Pa-cific Railroad lawns where he and his helper will be greeted by all the children of the city. From there Santa and his helper will take, tht children to the two big shows being be-ing offered to the children by the Elks Club of Cedar City. Following the show, Santa And his helper will distribute candy to everyone. Arrangements for bringing Santa San-ta Claus to Cedar City is being made by the Junior Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Parkalr Flying Service, the Elks Club, and the Cedar City Corporation. |
