Show (By Doris Brown) 9 V SENIOR HOP "Heaven" has been chosen as the theme for the annual Senior Hop to be held this Friday, December 6th. It promises to be one of the most outstanding and unusual semi-formal affairs of the year. Music and words for the theme song. "Heaven," were written by Audrey Dotson, one of the senior students. The decorations for the dance will be based on this song and will actually be "heavenly", for they will take you up a long winding stairway and through the Pearly Gates into a land of floating cloulds and angels. The assembly, which will be presented pre-sented Friday, December 6th at 9 o'clock, will also be based on "Heaven." "Hea-ven." It w.U consist of three scenes one scene in hell representing the sophomore year In school, one scene on earth representing the Junior Jun-ior year, and the last scene In heaven hea-ven representing the senior year. IT IF MUSIC CLUB ORGANIZED This year twenty-one members make up the Cedar City Chapter ol rhe National Band and Orchestra Honorary Association. These members mem-bers were chosen by Mr. Larson, Cedar City High school band and orchestra instructor, on their musical mus-ical ability and dependability. The officers who will preside over -he Music club are: Floyd Munson, president; La Fon Urle, vice president; pres-ident; Peg Bulloch, secretary, and Edward Southwick, treasurer. Claire Ssplln, Klien Rollo, Gordon Beth-.ts, Beth-.ts, and Vyonne Day. ft SEMINARY TO PRESENT OLD CHRISTMAS CLASSIC "The Three Wise Men", an old Christmas classic, will be presented present-ed by the L.D.S. Seminary on December De-cember 22 In one of the Cedar City wards. The play Is taken from a story of the same name written by Henry Van Dyke and Is the story of a man who hunts vainly throughout through-out his life for Christ. The cast for the play Includes: Stanley DeMllle, Ann Ashcroft. Bruce Gardner, Ken Knight, Gaylen Brown, Richard Southwick, Gordon Pace, Byron Anderson, Kenyon Fretwell, UlDene Adams. Patsy Neeley, Tex Parker, Clinton Hunt, Marshall Austin, Max Bonzo, and Edward Higbee. Barbara Albertson and Jean Marie Heywood are in charge of costumes. Musical numbers will be furnished by a chorus composed of Seminary students and directed by Carl S. Thomwall. L. L. Cannon, director of the Seminary, is in charge of the program. pro-gram.
