Show Woodbury Ineligible To Play For Redmen The Cedar High school basketball team got a severe Jolt this morning when Darwin Woodbury, star of last year's team, who was given second all-state team rattfig, was ruled ineligible at the Cedar City school for this year. David Mitchell, state high school association president, parsed on Woodbury's eligibility and notitied Principal Pratt Bethers this morning. After attending Cedar City high school last winter, Darwin moved w.th his family to LaVerkln and attended Hurricane high school dur-1 lng the Fall quarter, returning to Cedar City for the basketball season. sea-son. He apparently acted only after being assured by the chairman of Region Six athletic committee that he would be eligible, but the state official has over-ruled that decision, decis-ion, Darwin's attendance at the Hurricane Hur-ricane -school makes him Ineligible to play at any other school this year, and his only chances to par-ticipate par-ticipate is to return to Hurricane.
