Show noon. Following the dinner "500" was played and several musical selections se-lections were given by Miss Gladys Gribble. o Mrs. J. W. Jones delightfully entertained en-tertained some twenty of her friends at her home Monday evening in honor hon-or of her mother, Mrs. R. H. Wonder of Salt Lake, who is here for a short visit to Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Jones. Progressive Five Hundred was played play-ed and honors went to Mr. and Mrs. W. II. Gribble. Mrs. Jones served a lunch to her guests at ten o'clock. The Viro club, composed of the younger ladies of Gunnison, were the guests of Miss Sodonia Christensen Christen-sen last Monday evening. The Viro club has changed the night of meeting meet-ing and next Tuesday Miss Emma Fredrickson will be hostess. The members of the Presbyterian Mission held the usual weekly meeting meet-ing at the chapel last Tuesday afternoon. after-noon. An interesting program was given. Mrs. Helen Hofheins and Mrs. H. W. Cherry served a luncheon of sandwiches, salads, cake and coffee. cof-fee. The reception and wedding supper tendered Mr. and Mrs. T. C. Hoff, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. M. Beauregard, last Saturday Satur-day evening, proved an enjoyable social so-cial affair. Some thirty guests, the most intimate friends of the bride and groom, were present. Mr. and Mrs. Hoff left Saturday morning tor Denver, where they will make their home. c The farewell reception tendered in behalf of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Mace and Mr. and Mrs. Erick Rosenvall at the Relief Society hall Tuesday night was attended by a large crowd. The hall was comfortably filled and the program of song, music and speeches was well received. Refreshments Re-freshments were served to all of the guests. A pleasant birthday party was tendered tend-ered Mrs. Silas Newman at the home of Mrs. S E. Newman last Tuesday afternoon. Music and games were enjoyed enjoy-ed and at 4 o'clock ten guests were served serv-ed with a light lunch. Mrs. Newman was the recipient of many presents. SOCIETY The social feature of the week-end in Gunnison was the birthday party given by Mrs. W. H. Gribble at her home last Saturday afternoon. Thirty-two guests were present and a most enjoyable time was enjoyed by those present in playing Progressive Progress-ive Five Hundred. Mrs. R. H. Winder Win-der of Salt Lako and Mrs. R. Edwards Ed-wards won the favors at cards. Miss Gladys Gribble rendered several solos so-los and was warmly received. Mrs. Gribble was assisted in servin.g by Mrs. Marsden Gribble and Miss G'lad-( G'lad-( ys Gribble. The hostess was remembered re-membered by several bea utiful presents pres-ents as tokens of esteem. The members of the Bonne Foi club were guests of Mrs.. A. C. Lund Thursday afternoon of last week. During the working per ioa Mrs. Julius Ju-lius Duggins gave a rea din' entitled "Mother," and later Mri1. Lund served luncheon. Mr. and Mrs. W. H.
