Miss Leone Kdwards, the guest of friends and relatives at the capitol city for ten clays, has returned to her home in Gunnison. President O. B. Berglund of the Gunnison Valley Bank, returned on Tuesday evening from Salt Lak-3. While at the capitol city Mr. Berglund Berg-lund attended the Stale Bankers' convention held the first of this week. Keith Lewis, son of Guy Lewis, the Richfield banker, has accepted a position, with the J. C. Penney company's com-pany's Gunnison Btore. Mr. Lewis has been attending college at Salt Lake City. A. M. McClaren Peterson, Peter-son, and Miss Thelnui Willurdson. and Jesse, Veiga and Yada Peterson1 motored to Monroe Hot Springs last Sunday. .Misses -Glayde and Vera Bown, j students of the Wasatch Academy at Mt. Pleasant, spent Easter Sunday with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Bown of Gunnison. V'. Harvey Ross, president and general manager of the Gunnison Valley Sugar company, was here the early part of the week on important business lor his company. Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Winder, parents par-ents of Mrs. J. W. Jones, came down from Salt Lake last week for a brief visit. Mr. Winder was called to Salt Lake Monday morning on important im-portant business matters. Mrs. Winder expects to remain until the end of the week as the guest of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Jones. |
