Show Church Conference For Mt. Pleasant The county conference of the In-terchurch. In-terchurch. World Movement, to be held at the Presbyterian church at Mt. Pleasant next Tuesday, April 13, promises to be well attended from the south end of the county. Many from Gunnison are planning to attend, at-tend, the session and in addition many from Sevier, Piute and Garfield counties will be present. There will be a three-day session. On Tuesday Dr. George E. Davfes, leader; Dr. J. J. Lace, Dr. W. H. Burger, Mrs. L. M. Gillilan, all of Salt Lake, and Dr. Ray Palmer, and Dr. Godfrey Matthews Mat-thews of Ogden, will address the three meetings to be held that day. The morning session will convene at 9:30, the afternoon meeting at 2, and the evening session at 7:30. Dr. R. C. Jones of Price, will also be present at the meeting. Wednesday the Presbytery meeting meet-ing for men will be held and the conference will close Thursday with a Presbyterial at which the women will have charge of the meeting. The noted speakers who will be present at the conference next Tuesday Tues-day will speak on the following subjects: sub-jects: Dr. George E. Davies A great inspirational in-spirational address based on the program pro-gram and objectives of the Inter-church Inter-church World Movement. Dr. Ray Palmer, to conduct the devotional periods of intercession and to present the evangelical program. pro-gram. Dr. J. J Lace, to outline the financial finan-cial campaign and to instruct delegates del-egates concerning its conduct in. the minutest detail. Dr. H. W. Burger, to make the composite address on the departmental depart-mental activities of the Interchurch World Movement. Dr. Godfrey Matthews, to make the addresses illustrated by the ste-reopticon ste-reopticon on surveys at home and abroad. Mrs. L. M. Gillilan to give an address ad-dress on purpose, plan and program of the Hterchurch World Movement. Free entertainment will be provided pro-vided to all visitors to the conference confer-ence and it is expected that the meetings meet-ings will be largely attended. |
