Show Gunnison High j School Notes I i A one-act play entitled "Pros and j Cons", is to be staged by members of I the student body. Tryouts were ; held this week and the characters will soon be chosen. The date for the play has not been definitely decided de-cided upon as yet. Practically 100 per cent of the students gave contributions to be added to the fund constituting "A-merica's "A-merica's Gift to France". A monument monu-ment is to be erected in France with the money received. The "Weenie Roast" whiter was to have been held at Rocky Point last Friday night, could not be held on account of weather conditions. Instead In-stead a party was held in the "Ag" room. An inter-class indoor track meet was held and many interesting and exciting games were played. Refreshments Re-freshments of sandwiches, pickles and wieners were served and a good time was enjoyed by all who attended. attend-ed. Trofessor Paul, who was here during dur-ing the educational campaign, gave a talk to the members of the High school and memhers of the seventh and eighth grades of the public schools. Brooks Fletcher also gave; a very interesting High school "ginger" "gin-ger" talk. Both addresses were highly enjoyed by the student:;. |
