Show IS NOW ASSISTANT ADJUTANT George H. Rennick Is Named to Aid Lemuel Bolles in Conducting Legion Affairs. Announcement has just' been made of the appointment of George H. Ren- 1 nick as assistant national adjutant of the American Legion, in which capacity he will assist Lemuel Bolles, national adjutant, in conducting con-ducting the affairs af-fairs of the organization. or-ganization. Mr. Rennick, who is just past thirty, has had varied business interests. Following the completion ot his euueanon abroad, he was connected con-nected with the Pressed Steel Car company com-pany of Mew- York for four years. Later he became executive assistant to the late Wiilard Straight, from 1913 to 1917, during the latter's connection with J. P. Morgan & Company, and the American International corporation. Enlisting as a private of infantry in Washington, D. C, in November, 1917, he sailed for overseas service the next month, was commissioned a second lieutenant and was made a captain a few months before his return re-turn to the United States, December 29, 1918. He received a citation for extra meritorious service. In January, 1919, he was made assistant director of the bureau of war risk insurance, which position he held until his connection con-nection with the American Legion. |
