Show , In Tine Social Realm Mrs. Manilla Brown Reporter, rhone ua-w. Prominent among the social functions func-tions of the week end was the party given Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. O. Packard by members of the Primary stake board and their partners, Kolob stake presidency and partners were also invited guests. A St. Patrick's day color scheme was artistically carried out in room decorations as well as during the delicious luncheon lunch-eon which -was served early in the evening. After supper a program of games, social chat and music was enjoyed. Members of the board and guests present to enjoy the delightful de-lightful affair were: President and Mrs. G. R. After luncheon the time was spent with social chat and music. Neighbors and friends of Miss Amelia Weight delightfully surprised surpris-ed her at her home Wednesday evening. eve-ning. Games were enjoyed and a tasty lunch served to a large crowd present. The Second ward Religion class officers and teachers surprised Mrs. Anna Stewart, who has not been able to attend her class on account I of a broken ankle, at her home Fri- day evening. The time pleasantly pleas-antly spent making Easter baskets, i Music and a delicious luncheon were also enjoyed by the following ladies present: Mrs. Alta Allcman, ; Miss Mary Strong, Miss Helen Fox, Mrs. Alrne'da Evans, Mrs. Beth Minor, Min-or, Mrs. Ida Harmer, Miss Flora Martin, Miss Edna Starr, Miss Margaret Fox. In compliment to her daughter Ellen whoso eighth birthday occurred oc-curred Saturday Mrs. Jim Rothwell entertained a number of young folks at her home during the after- noon. Games were played and a delicious de-licious lunch served to about 12 little lit-tle friends present. The members of the Alpha Beta club were delight fully entertained by Mrs. J. S. Groer.beck at her home Friday afternoon. An interesting inter-esting paper on "American Artists" was given by Mrs. Ella Clyde, also Mrs. Mary Childs gave an interesting interest-ing paper on "American Sculptures". Sculp-tures". Musical selections were furnished fur-nished by Mrs. Blanch G. Haloa who sang a vocal number accompanied accom-panied at the piano by Mrs. Earl Sumsion; Mrs. Hales nlso gave a musical reading and a piano solo. The present officers of, the club wcrer reelected for the coming yoar. Delicious refreshments were served to fourteen members and three guests present. The next club meeting will be held at, the home of Mrs. R. B. Maughn in Provo March 29. Carl Weight; reading', Mildred Peay; solo, Frank Bjarnson, accompanied by Mrs. Lola Weight; cello solo. C. H.
