Show ORIS CF HIGH SCHOOL PLAN BANNER BAY Friday, March 22, will be a red-letter red-letter day in the history of Springville Spring-ville high school, members of the Girls' Day committee announce. On this day the girls of the school will rei;;n supreme in a grand celebration. celebra-tion. The activities will begin with a program to be given by the home economics club at 11 o'clock. At l-.'iO the girls will fcive a reception for their mothers, at which time the sewing articles will be exhibited exhib-ited and light refreshments served. After the reception the clubs of the school will join in an "All Stunt" program, in which they will compete for a prize to be offered by the Hume Economics club. The day will close with the annual an-nual grand ball. The committees have planned to make this one of the finest social events of the entire season. The dance will take place in the Springville Opera house, with music by Johnny Rossll's famous fa-mous orchestra. A good time is assured all. A schedule of events for the day is given as follows: 9 to 11 o'clock Regular classes; 11 to 12 Home Economics club assembly program; 12 to 1 Punch and cook sale; 1 to 3 Achievement tea in honor of mothers; 1 to 3 Sewing demonstration, demonstra-tion, including moving pictures on textiles entitled "The .Modern Cinderella"; Cin-derella"; 3 to 4 "All Stunt" program; pro-gram; 8:30 to 12 Home Economics club ball. |
