A. Willis and J. H. McKeon. They were arraigned in the juvenile court Wednesday afternoon, where their case was taken under advisement ad-visement by Judge Joseph Nelson. According to the officers the boys gained entrance to the store by breaking a window in the rear of the store. Small change amounting amount-ing to a little over $2 was the only loot obtained, according to a statement state-ment of the proprietor, following an investigation. The scrubbing brush with its tell-tale imprint was found directly direct-ly outside of the window where the boys entered the building. The peculiar pe-culiar pattern of the track made the finding of the owner of the shoe a comparatively easy matter, and the boys made a quick confession confes-sion when confronted by the evidence. evi-dence. , MABEL NORMA ND MAY 1)1 K HOLLYWOOD, Calif., Mar. 19. .(U.R) Mabel Normand, the screen comedienne, was reported critically ill today with a "less than even" chance to recover. vli !.'.' |
