Show MOM UNI DIES S000EH Moroni Brown died suddenly yesterday yester-day afternoon at the family residence, 2920 Hudson avenue, of "heart trouble. trou-ble. Ho had been working around the yard as usual and went into the house to rest. He passed away shortly short-ly afterward. He was a son of the late Captain Jame3 Brown, ono of the founders of Ogden, and was horn In Adams county, Ills., September 25, 1840. The deceased came to Ogden with his parents In 1851, and settled in Ogden, where he has resided since. He was an active member of the Mormon church throughout his lifetime, serving four missions and holding numerous church ofilces. He was ono of the first two marshals of Ogden. His wife, Frances M. Brown, and the following children survive him: Mrs. Lulu O'Neill, Miss Florence Brown, O. D. Brown and Golden C. Brown, Ogden; Mrs. H. J. Schultz, Heist, Utah; Mrs. W. 0. Erlckson, Richfield, Utah; Mrs. Kitty Rogers, Los Angeles, and Dr. A. L. Brown, Brigham City. The funeral will bo held at 2 p. m., Friday, in the Eleventh ward meeting meet-ing house, and interment will be in the city cemetery. The body may be viewed at the residence each afternoon after-noon and evening, and Friday, until the funeral hour. |
