Show uv eFJEOPEIDi According to word received yesterday yester-day by the United States surveyor general for this district, and by the land office officials, from D. K. Par-rott, Par-rott, assistant commissioner at Washington, Wash-ington, there have been restored to entry several townships in Boxelder county. These have been withheld In some cases since 1899, and in other Instances since 1913, for the purpose of having a" re-survey made. The survey sur-vey having been completed, these lands havo again been restored for entry. It is announced that there are still some details to bo completed in relation rela-tion to parcels 11 and 12 north, and 7 and 8 west These details will bo completed and the lands will be ready for entry in about thirty days, according ac-cording to present prospects. According to figures compiled by the local land office, seventy-six applications ap-plications for homesteads were filed during the month of July, and sixty-four sixty-four applicants made final proof. In July, 1915, there were 192 applications, applica-tions, and thirty-two final proofs. Tho number of entries on all class es of land for the past month were 139, as compared with 232 for the corresponding cor-responding month last year. The entries for July, 1916, included onu for coal lands, eleven on desert lands, with seventeen proofs, two timber and stone entries. - |
