Show Draft Calls Three Local Youths Into Army Service The first group from Franklin county .o be called into active ser-v.ce ser-v.ce in the U. S. army under the recent re-cent conscription act was announced announc-ed this week by the local conscription conscrip-tion board. Nathan Maughan Casperson, Quentin Rasmas. Casperson, and VViJiiami Taylor xfmghaTtt-w.O'-e ordered or-dered to report to the local board in Preston at 2 p. m., January 22. From here they will be sent to Boise to be inducted into service. As an alternate in case one of three called to duty! is released by the induction office at Boise, Wilson Wil-son Skinner was named. If called to service, however, he will be given giv-en five days notice. "Any registrant who wishes to volunteer for immediate induction can make application at the local board headquarters in the courthouse court-house and this will place him at the head of the list for entry into the service for his year of training," train-ing," the local board announces. Men over; 18 and under 21 years ol age may take their training now upon the written permission of their parents. The next induction of registrants will be in February. |
