Show SKATING RULES ANNOUNCED HERE A regulation of skatm- hours or the -city skating pond next, to the Central school wa announced this week by Ernie Hritenbcker of the Junior Chamber of Commerce. The hours have been set to enable eliil dren of all ages to ska e withou danger of injury, A full-time supervisor his been appointed under the recreational rec-reational program to take charge of the pond during the following scheduled hours: 4 to 6 p. m. Central and Jefferson school children and younger. 6 to 8 p. m Hockey playing. 8 to 10;30 p. m. General public. Saturday and Sunday up to 2 p.m. Central and Junior High children. child-ren. 2 to 4 for general public 4 to 6 for Hockey playing. 6 to 10:30 for general public. Note: Hockey playingjis permitted permit-ted on only half of the pond, the other half being open to public. Lights have been installed again this year to permit skating in the evening. No lights will be used on Sunday evenings, and lights will not be turned on until 9 p. m. on Tuesday nights. |
