Show Saturday evening Mrs. Maurine Christensen Baker of Salt Lake, entertained at her home in honor of Miss Naomi Halliday, a bride of the week. The following persons were among those who attended M. I. A. Conference Confer-ence in Salt Lake Friday: Myrtle Houston, Lottie Hammond, May Halliday, Hal-liday, Rinthia Christensen. Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Grant, Mrs. L. B. Adam-son, Adam-son, Mrs. George Nicholes, Mrs. Bernard Storrs, Mrs. Marion Mercer, Mrs. Lillian Booth, Kenneth Bird, Hannah Aydelotte and Velma Shelley. Shel-ley. Those from American Fork who attended the M. I. A. Recreation Leaders convention in Salt Lake Monday were. Mrs. Jorvis Aydelotte, Mrs. Lillian Booth, Mrs. West Hammond, Ham-mond, Mrs. Myrtle Seastrand, Mrs. Marlon Christensen, Mrs. V. F. Houston, George Scott. Mrs. Eileen Ferguson, Miss Velma Shelley, Miss Selma Seastrand, Miss Eleanor McAllister. Mc-Allister. An attractive marriage took place Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Irving L. Pratt when Miss Geneva Naff and Mr. Clarence Miller were united in marringe by Judge Pratt. The rooms were beautifully decorated decorat-ed with peonies and other seasonable season-able flowers. Mrs. Pratt served a wedding breakfast to the immediate families of the bride and groom. Those present included the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Naff, and her grandfather Solomon Angel; the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alfred O. Miller; Miss Emm Angel, bridesmaid and Walter Bloomciuist best man. Mr. and Mrs. William M. Miller announce the marriage of their daughter, Eernioc to George E. Smith, son of Mrs. Jennie Nicholes of Mllford, Utah. The ceremony will be preformed by President Clifford E. Young at Flrmage Hull on June 241,1). The bride will be attended by Mis. Adrian LaUuron, as matron of honor, hon-or, and the bride's twin sister, Miss Helen Lee Kirk and Miss Shlrl-y Irene Taylor, bridesmaids: Leon 13. Miller will be best man; Ralph W.
