This is the first plant to be built by the association and is declared to be ideal In every respect. City, district and state " officials of the association will attend at-tend and help put over the big celebration. cele-bration. An inspection tour, a free public chicken lunch, meeting, and program, candy shower, matinee dance, baseball g-ame, banquet and dance will make up the program. Ten Years Ago Now Next Thursday night will be ladies la-dies night at the Lions club, the first to be held since the club was organized. At 7 o'clock the luncheon lunch-eon will be served. The speakers of the evening will be A. C. Recs of Salt Lake City, president of the Utah Associated Industries. Ten Years Ago Now The M. I. A. presidents and tin: recreation committees of the different dif-ferent words of the Alpine ..take met at the Tithing office Thursday evening to plan an institute for Mutual Mu-tual Dell. The date decided upon for the convention is next Wednes- day and Thursday, June 22nd and 23rd. Ten Years Ai;o Now Cockerel shipments are at the highest point of the wnson, three car loads going out this week. In the week's shipment between 30.000 and 3C.000 cockerels went out. The Fulton market completed leading on Wednesday, their car going to Los Angeles. Ten Years Ayo Now What promises to be one of the most interesting and most unusual out-of-door celebrations is the entertainment en-tertainment arranged for the Old Folks of Alpine stake on Wednesday, June 22nd. The outing is to be held at the novel Saratoga resort. The management there have given the Old Folks access to everything, their grounds, their new dance hall, playgrounds for the kiddies, and other modern improvements. |
