Wednesday, Mayor Bransford look County Coun-ty Commissioners Maekay and Clinton and Street Supervisor Haloigh over tho street In his automobile as far south as Twelfth South street, and a thorough inspection in-spection was made of th! thoroughfare. From Eleventh to Twelfth South. the street Is Jointly owned by the city and county, but north of Klevcnth South, the city has entire Jurisdiction. Chairman Maokay and Mr. Clinton readily ngrced with Mayor Bransford that tho county would Join the rlly In placing the street In condition between FJevcnth and Twelfth South and Mayor Bransford will recommend to tho Council, that tho city do the necessary work north of Eleventh South. Tho County Commissioners nro now having some excellent work dono on Fourteenth South street, between Stato and Seventh East streets. Tho street Is being macadamized with slag and will bo a high-class thoroughfaro when tho work has been completed. Another piece of work being done hy tho Commissioners Is tho grading of the road running east from Murray to Bag-ley's Bag-ley's store.
