Show NOTICE. Notice Is hereby glvci. bv the City Council of Salt Lako City of the intention of such Council to make the following described Improvement, tn wit: 'Constructing cement sidewalks six (") feet wide and four (I) Inches thick on all eight (S) rod streets, and four ft) feet wide and four (1) inches thick on all narrow streets, from the south side of Second South street to tf.e center lln of Third South street, nnd from the west line of Ninth West street to' the Jordan river, In sidewalk district No. 21, and defray de-fray the abutters' portion of the cost and expense thereof, estimated at font thousand thou-sand eight hundred fifty-one and 42-100 (51S51.12) dollars; two thousand one hundred hun-dred twenty-eight nnd rtt-HiO ($2l2S.".l) dollars, or one and 5-100 dollars per front or linear foot abutting said Improvement Im-provement on snld eight (S) iod streets, there being 2027.2S feet of abutting property prop-erty on said eight (S) rod streets; and two tliusand seven bundled twenty-two and 7S-le0 (J2722.7S) dollars, or 7C-I00 (50.75) dollars per front or linear foot abutting said improvement on said narrow street, there being 3G30..13 feer of abnl-tlnr abnl-tlnr properly on said narrow streets, by a local nssossment upon tho lots or pieces of ground within Ihe follow Ii.,-; described district, being the distrjet to be affected and benefited by said Improvement, namely: name-ly: SIX-FOOT SIDEWALKS. The south side of lots 2 to 17, inclusive, block 1, the west side of lots 17 and IS. block 1. and the west side, of lots 17 and 1?. block 2. Kelsey k Gillespie subdivision, block 41; tho east side of lots 1. and 30 to IP. inclusive, block 3. and the south side of lots 29 and 30, block 3. Graeber Post Office addition, block 42. all in plat C. FOUR-FOOT SIDEWALKS. The east side of lots 1, and S to 24. inclusive, in-clusive, block 1, tne west side of lots 12 to 29, Inclusive, and the east side of lots 1, and 30 to 17. Inclusive, block 2, and the west sldn of lots It 10 29, Inclusive, block 3. Graeber Post Office addition, block 42, tho south side of lots 2 to 17. Inclusive, block 2, nnd the north side of lots 1, and IS to 32, Inclusive, block 1, Kelsey & Gillespie subdvlslon. block 41, all in plat C. Salt Lake City survey. Tho total cost of said Improvement is estimated at six thousand three hundred twenty-six and 22-100 ($6320.22) dollars, of which sum the city's portion is one thousand four hundred seventy-four and 80-100 (S1171.S0) dollar. leaving four thousand eight hundred fifty-one and 42-100 42-100 (1S5112) dollars to" bu raised by lo;'al assessment. All protests and objections to tha carrying carry-ing out of such Intention must be presented present-ed In writing to the City Recorder on or boforo the 31sl day of August, 100S. being the time set by said Council when It will hear and consider such protests nnd objections ob-jections as may be made thereto.
