NEGRESSES ARE CHARGED WITH MURDEROUS ASSAULT Mary Jarrett and Kate Speed, negrcsses, were lodged In the county jail by Deputy Sheriffs Sporry and Reld Wednesday night, the first charged with assault with Intent to murder upon Ella Branch, and the second with complicity In tho assault. The Jarrett woman shot tho Branch woman wo-man on Victoria alley several days ago, whllo tho Sperry woman, It Is said, held tho victim. The Branch woman Is at St. Marks hospital. Tho Jarrett woman was out on $500 ball awaiting the filing of charges -against her ponding developments in her victim's condition, and when It becamo certain tho Branch woman will not dlo the charge of murderous assault was made against her. The ball was considered Inadequate, hence hor arrest.
