At this time the movie industry in-dustry seems to be interested interest-ed in Utah for location. The State has received about 20 inquiries as a result of a trip made by Gov. Calvin L. Rampton and Industrial Promotion Pro-motion personnel to California Califor-nia a few weeks ago. Leete stated that three movies are s'ated for the state before the end of the year. It was reported that some thirty employees of Bendix Navigation and Control Company Com-pany from Madison, Alabama will be moving to Moab in the near future for several months while on assignment at the White Sands Missile Range Utah Launch Complex. Next Tuesday's Chamber meeting will be devoted to hearing from candidates -for election to the three Moab Citv Council posts and at that time there will also be nominations nom-inations from the floor for Directors of the Chamber of Commerce. |
