Show City Hears Comments On Light City Council members met in regular session Tuesday evening and held a discussion with Moab citizens present at the meeting about the traffic signal located at the intersection inter-section of Fourth North a'nd First West. At this time, there are stop signals on the North and East sides of the intersection and yield signals on the south and west sides. Some residents felt that these signals were very confusing, and that something should be done about them. The Council will arrange to have the State Traffic Engineer meet with them to see if any changes need to be made. Authorization for three City employees to take a welding course which is being be-ing offered at the high school Vocational Center was given. Ross Leech, city mechanic, and Jim Gordon will take the course along with one man from the water department. The City signed an agreement agree-ment with the State for design de-sign work on the Third South bridge for $1,000 and another anoth-er agreement to do engineering engineer-ing work on the Cane Creek Blvd. and Fifth West project for S2.500. |
