Show BPW Club of Moab To Note Observance The working women of Moab Mo-ab are being honored on Oct. 17-23, during the nationwide observance of National Business Busi-ness Women's Week. Marian Ottinger of the Moab Business and Professional Profes-sional Women's Club, announced an-nounced that the club has planned to attend the Chamber Cham-ber of Commerce meeting as a club to celebrate Business Women's Week National Business Women's Week was initiated in ' 1928 by the National Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs. This week focuses on the thousands of women who are working to solve the nation's problems. The 1971-72 theme of the more than thirty-eight hundred hun-dred BI'W clubs is "Era of Responsibility" with a strong focus on action programs such as: legislative action, action to ensure a quality society, action to bring world peace, action to promote productive change, and action to raise the status of women. In his proclamation setting aside National Business Women's Week in the United States, President Richard Nixon said. "Without the skills and talents tal-ents of our women, we would be but half the nation we are. It is therefore most appropriate ap-propriate that National Business Busi-ness Women's Week honors the woman's vital role in the progress and well-being of our society." Other officers of the Moab Club are Ann Pool, Geri Boy-den, Boy-den, Jody Hayes, and Nellie Beyeler. A meeting is planned plan-ned for 7 p.m. at the Sun-Downer, Sun-Downer, Monday, Oct. 25.
