Elder Jesse Thomas Nielson has been called to serve in the Texas McAllen Spanish speaking mission for The Church of Jesus Christ dT Latter-Da-y Saints. i Elder Nielson will speak at the Huntington 3rd Ward Stake Cen-tie- r, 215 North Main on Dec. 30 at 11 a.m.t prior to entering the missionary Training Center on Jan. 2. His parents are Wayne and Teresa Nielson of Huntington. He is t)e grandson of Marjorie Nielson of Huntington and the late John C. Nielson, and Dell and LaVern Bunnell of St George. I 7 Megan Gould Matthew Mower Wayne and Janette Gould of Littleton, Colo., announce the marriage of their daughter, Megan Gould, to Matthew Mower, the son of Scott and Vickie Mower of Price They will be married on Dee 27, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be presented in the newlyweds honor that evening from 9 p.m. at The Inn on Temple Square in Salt Lake City A reception is planned on Dee 28, from 8 p.m. at the Westw ood LDS Ward, 175 North 1280 West in Price Megan and Matthew will make their home in Provo where they will continue their education. 7-- 6-- b Elder Larsen Elder Jeremy Don Larsen has returned from serving in the England, Leeds Mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-DaSaints. Elder Larsen will report his mission in sacrament meeting on Dec. 30, at 9 a.m. in the Perron 4th Ward. I Elder Larsen is the son of Don and Suzanne Larsen and the grandson of Jay and Marilyn Larsen, and Ernie and the late Irene Campbell, all of Ferron. Hollie Burton Daniel Jewkes y Ross and Earn Burton of South Jordan announce the marriage of their daughter, Hollie Diane Burton, to Daniel Vaughn Jewkes, the son of William and Vila Jewkes of Price. The couple will be married Jan. 3 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A reception will be presented to honor the newlyweds Jan. 3 from 7-- 9 p.m. at the LDS Chapel located at 9750 South 2200 West, South Jordan. An open bouse is planned in the couples honor Jan. 5 from 7 to 9 pjn. at the Spring Glen LDS Chapel, located at 1985 West 400 North. Elder Frandsen Elder Jake Von Frandsen returned home Dec. 20, after serving in the Venezuela Maracaibo Mission for Hie Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Da-y Saints. . He will report his mission in sacrament meeting Dec. 30, at C:30 p.m. in the 8th North Chapel in Castle Dale. !j Elder Frandsen is the son of Jay and Lorraine Frandsen, the d andson of Betty and Von Frandsen of Castle Dale, and Merene R. ij id the late Mark Humphrey of Orangeville. We have thoroughly enjoyed our ministry here in Emery County and love the people, community and surrounding area. It has been wonderful to see the Lord work the way He has and we have really appreciated the cooperation of the community and local government with the development of both the church and ranch ministry. I blessed the church with several spiritually mature men, several of whom can preach the Word of God and provide leadership and training to the flock in the interim. The Three Sevens Ranch ministry is set up under the board of Rocky Mountain West Baptist Missions and will continue to be directed by Rick Benson. We look forward to seeing how the Lord will continue to bless and use these ministries in the future, and we sure plan to come back and visit the many good friends weve made here, says Pastor Joe. The Kuefler family, com posed of Joe, his wife Pam, and children:' Jon (16), Sierra (14), Kathryn (11), Joseph (9), Jesse (6), Michelle (3), and Alana Joy (8 weeks), are planning on leaving for Marion, Mont., the first week of January.
