Show HAT BRIM SMALLER; BACK IS TURNED UP There's an epidemic of small vivid hats and scarfs to brighten up the winter scene. Brimmed hats are still with us, but the brims are smaller and turned up in back, so as not to interfere in-terfere with the sables and the silver sil-ver fox. Debutantes are going for the high-hat high-hat Cossack caps of corduroy and velveteen, with matching neckerchief necker-chief or Ascot, to wear with dark winter suits and coats. They are round, Russian effects, high-crowned and brimless, that have an undeniable dash. They come in such cheering colors col-ors as scarlet, emerald green, chartreuse, char-treuse, coral and old rose, and add nice accents of color to sober nin-ter nin-ter costumes. |
