Show ELECTRIC SIGNALS FOR THE Cum CAR LIE The Ogden Rapid Transit company has at work electricians placing in position the six sets of automatic electric block signals on the canyon car system. The system should be installed for the early spring service to the Hermitage. Manager Kline states that the signals sig-nals will insure safety in the operation opera-tion of the canyon cars. The signals will be so arranged and will work automatically au-tomatically so perfectly that a collision colli-sion will be next to an impossibility. The signals have been tried out in the city and it is said that they answer an-swer the purpose in every detail. The company is also planning to give car service to the Hermitage next Sunday and this will be done if the washout above the Peery summer home can be repaired in time. A large force of men is busily engaged making a breakwater on the south side of the roadbed and rebuilding the track on the old roadbed next to the mountain. However, it will be definitely known by Saturday evening whether the roadbed will be in condition condi-tion for use. During low water season sea-son the roadbed at this point, next to the river, will be reinforced with a heavy concrete wall. |
