Show TROOPS READY FOR TRANSPORTS Galveston, Texas, April 21. Troops of the Fifth brigade, U. S. A., under command of Colonel Daniel Cornman, were ready today to go on board the four, army transports here at a moment's mo-ment's notice. The brigade, which is composed of the Fourth, Seventh, Nineteenth, and Twenty-eighth infantry, infan-try, will be reinforced by. the Slxt cavalry, one battery of the Fourth field artillery; company E, engineers; company D, signal corps, and an ambulance am-bulance corpS. The full brigade numbers num-bers approximately 4700 officers and men. A wireless message announced that the torpedo boata Flusscr, Preston and Reid would arrive in Galveston today. Their coming was a surprise to army and navy officials here as they had been last reported in St. Joseph's bay, Florida. oo |
