Show uu 1 SOCIETY 1 GIVE PRETTY DANCING PARTY Last evening in the Colonial dancing danc-ing academy Clara Barton Division No. 237. Grand International Auxiliary to the Brotherhood of local Engineers afforded amusement for about 300 people at one of the many beautifully beautiful-ly appqlnted dancing parties of the season. A pretty decorative scheme in purple pur-ple and white was successfully carried car-ried out in the hall. Overhead a canopy xf purple and white crepe paper pa-per "was arranged from the center of which numerous stars and crescents were radiated to each side of tho hall. In a booth at the northwest corner cor-ner of the auditorium a caterer from the Greenwell confectionery served fruit punch, nuts' and confectionery. Crawford's, orchestra furnished music for the following program of dances: Waltz, "On Time for Division Meeting"; Meet-ing"; two step, "Our Visiting Members"; Mem-bers"; waltz, "President Murdock"; three step, ".The Inspectors"; grand march,. "Our Grand Vice President"; quadrille, "Old Timers"; Buffalo glide. Waiting for the Caller"; waltz. "My Old Man Is on the West End"; Virginia Reel, "Everybody's Dance"; dancers, "237 Is President"; Schottische, "Over tho Cutoff": two step, "Our Annual Picnic"; waltz. "Moonlight": German,, "Officers of Division 237"; Buffalo glide, "Waiting "Wait-ing for the De Luxe"; two step, "Here's to Old Terrace"; waltz, "Train Orders"; quadrille. "Division 55"; two step, "Sympathy"; home waltz, "Good Night Dear." Four extras ex-tras were also given. Jacobs. Ja-cobs. DONOVAN-OWENS This morning at 8 o'clock in the St. Mary's Cathedral at Salt Lake City, Miss Abbie Catherine Donovan and John J. Owens, both of Ogden, were quietly married by Reverend Father William Ryan. After an extended ex-tended honeymoon trip throughout California the happy couple will be at home to their many friends In their cosy home on Madison avenue. The bride is one of Ogden's most charming charm-ing young ladies, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dennis J. Donovan of 1128 Oak avenue. Mr. Owens was formerly former-ly of the east but Is now a resident of this city, where he has acquired many friends. AT EVANSTON Mrs. J. Scott Parmley and two children chil-dren of 2561 Brlnker avenue arc spending a few days with Mr. and Mrs. James L. West at Evanston prior to leaving for their new home in San Jacinto, Nevada.
