Show RECALL THE MURDER OF M, E, MALONE OF OGDEN According to a recent news report from Placervllle, Cal., Frank C. Everett, Ev-erett, a mining man of that town, but a paroled prisoner from the Ne-I Ne-I vada state penitentiary. Is making an effort to secure a pardon, Everett has been on parole since 1910 from a life sentence in the penitentiary for the killing of Michael E. Malonc at Mlna, Nevada, in 1909. The murdered mur-dered man was a brother of Master Mechanic D. 'j. Malone of Ogden and left Ogden to take a position at Mlna only a short time before his death. Everett at the time of the shooting was alleged to have been drunk and also crazy. Since he was paroled he underwent an operation, In which a portion of a needle, which was era-bedded era-bedded In his brain since he was nine years old, was removed by taking ou a piece of the skull bono.
