Show REV. SILCOX IS GUEST OF RONOR AT A BANQUET Rev. J. B. Sllcox of Kansas City was the guest of honor at a banquet held early yesterday evening in the First Congregational church basement. base-ment. Tbero we$e about 100 prominent promi-nent local churchmen at the banquet, representing the Congregational, Baptist, Bap-tist, Presbyterian, Methodist, Episcopalian Episco-palian churches. Tho affair proved to be a most enjoyable en-joyable one and a fine menu was served. At Its conclusion, Rev, Sllcox Sll-cox addressed the assembled guests,, making a plea for the "Big Brother" movement as being ono of great benefit bene-fit toward the spreading of Christianity.
