Show LMUSE1LENTS BILLEE TAYLOR Mrs Williamsons throng of merry an8 tuneful children drew a very good house a5 the theatre last eveningono we are pleisedi to say which will in some measure requite tho arduous labors which the clever and plucky directress has taken upon herself since she first began the work of instructing instruct-ing the children in the mysteries of Billee Taylor Last nights performamce was full of merriment the children were smothered in flowers and the encores were numerous Ruby Clawson and Edith El lerbecb again came in for decided applause and Ardie Cummincrs a new member of the cast looked acted and sang very charmingly Spencer Squires is worth going miles to see and his bloodcurdling blood-curdling ha ha was alone worth the price of admission Miss Daynes lookeda and sang very well and Fred Butler May Hollander Hol-lander John Taylor and May Goldberg acquitted ac-quitted themselves as before very creditably The youthful choristers were immense particularly the charity girls and the soluiers and one little tot Belle Goldberg Gold-berg we believe kept the house in a ripple rip-ple with her archness and grace The dances by Pearl Dunlap and Birdie Dun lap were heavily applauded and a violin solo by May Goldberg a little girl who is one of Mr Carelesss pupils was surprisingly good considering the age of the child THE CHORAL SOCIETY met last evening and had an enjoyable evening eve-ning The choruses cf Noble Chief and Farewell to the Forest were both rendered ren-dered and at the close Miss Ridges the possessor of a strong and clear soprano rendered a solo The society will not meet againuntil October 9 A TRIP TO CHIKATOWX The advance seats opens today and Major Burton reports many inquiries |
