been one that any county might bo proud of Fifty stalls in a snug little nook of the tithing corral and the advertised free f cod to exhibited stock shows commendable thrift on the part of the committee headed by Aaron F Farr jr Itis the example shown by just such men and the emulation excited by just such fairs thatmakes Cache county the leading county in tho production of blooded livestock live-stock To day thoroughbred horses came in sniallTunds and cattle in herds jet many known fine horses and cattle are not in the lair Numbers more of these are expected ex-pected tomorrow The exhibition is tree and wagou loads 01 the people of the county ana crowds from the city were continually going and commsr at the grounds all day enough the races drOw well the attendance the fair city I D Haines was chairman rind D M Todd secretary The delegates from the precincts were behind time and the cpminittee credentials was held in working order until after their first report The fault lay in the fact that very little and insufficient time had been allowed for working up primaries by the territorial central mAittee committee in giving notice to tho centra committee of the county which no tice said county central committee are com pelled to wait for With the tardiness of our mail system the committee should hlVC had notice at least thirty days before they did A committee of the county eligible to vote I who were not taught their privileges and who because of the same were allowing men to be placed in office who would rule them to their ruin or ruin them outright The committee on nomination reported as follows R W Sloan W K Burnham Fred Turner and S M Molen delegates and C N Olsen and Henry Hughes alternates alter-nates The report was accepted and the delegates as named chosen John Bernhisel cam down from Lewiston Lewis-ton to the fair and convention and to qualify as justice of the peajo for Lawiston pre uinct Electric light will be in every well regis lated
