Daly. The brides gown of white organza over taffeta was styled with an Edwardian lace bodice enhanced by seed pearls, which also trimmed the long sleeves. A ruffle of chantilly lace edged the hemline of the skirt, with Venetian lace appliques accenting the graceful gown. She completed her bridal ensemble with a bouquet of white rdses, spider mums, and blue babys breath. A Church rite weds pair vows were exSherrilee Isom Miss changed by and Douglas J. Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick Broersma of Brigham City announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter Donna to Steve J. Whitlock, son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Whitlock of Brigham City. The couple has chosen September 7 for their wedding, which will be performed at the Community Center with a reception to follow. Both are graduates of Box Elder High school and both are employed in Logan. After a short honeymoon trip, the couple will make their ' ' home in Logan. Bridal gown and wedding reception, the bride wore an ivory exquisite gown oftrimmed crystalline organdy with alencon lace embroidered with seed pearls and crystal beads. It was styled with an empire bodice and high collar neckline, all with cut-otrimmed in lace. A wide double flounce created a cape effect over the shoulders and to the waistline in the back. Lace panels graced the front of the softly gathered skirt and trimmed the circular flounce forming a chapel train. A summer hat completed the bridal ensemble. Social time is set for 12 noon, with luncheon to be served at 12:30 p.m. in the dining room. Program for the afternoon will be an illustrated world tour conducted by John and Ann Fleming, using pictures which they took on their recent trip around the world. For July our queens of the week are Eva Bird, Marilyn Ayotte. Queen of the month goes to Kathy Schaffer. For the month of August our Queens of the week were Julie Harper for August 3, Paige Colbridge for the 17 and 24. Paige also won our money contest for losing the most weight. Marilyn Ayotte was Queen for the month of August. We have some new members we would like to welcome, they are Betty Houser, Carol Williams, Carol Sara, and Doris Trush who is also our new secretary. Our TOPS No. 259 will .be holding a bake sale in front of Sears Saturday morning at 10 a.m. Sept. 11. - Mrs. Edna Merrell of Brigham City will be honored at an open house hosted by her children on Saturday, Sept. 11, from 2 to 4 p.m. at her home, 36 East Third South. Friends and relatives are invited to visit during those hours. The event will celebrate her 85th birthday, which she observed in August, since all of her children will be able to come to Brigham City for the open house during the Peach Days holiday. Miss Limb graduated from Bear River High school. During high school she was majorette for the schools marching band a member of the a capella choir. She was also a four year graduate of the LDS Seminary. She has attended Utah State university for three years and was prominent in musical circles. She was a member of the Choralle, chamber choir.
