Burgess and son Harrison of ; Burley, Idaho, left for 'their home ' Friday after visiting friends and relatives here for the past week. Miss Elsie Burgess accompanied them as far as St. George. Miss Minnie Crawford of Enterprise Enter-prise is here teaching school, as Mrs. Ballard was transferred to Rockville. Misses Thelma and Lucille Strat-ton Strat-ton and Effie Bracken are attending the Dixie college at St. George. Rex Leavitt and Phyllip Burgess spent the fore part of last week in Mesquite, Nevada, on business. Miss Ruth Stapley of Cedar City who has been visiting here for some time left for her home Friday. Most of our young folks left Sunday Sun-day for Modena with a herd of cattle which they are shipping. Mr. and Mrs. Bert Truman and family of St. George were here visiting, visit-ing, Sunday. Most of our young folks are attending at-tending the Chautauqua festival at Enterprise. Bishop Oliver Stratton spent the week end in St. George, on business. John Benson of Enterprise was here Saturday, buying catle. Bert Truman is working in Pine Valley on the thresher. |
