Show ROCKVILLE Rockville, Sept. 2S. M. J.. A. was reorganized here today. The officers chosen were, Marvin Terry, president, presi-dent, Afton Ballard and Arthur Terry for the Y. M. assistants; Mrs. Cora Cox president of the Y. L. with Mrs. Ethel DeMill and Mrs. Geneva De Mill assistants. Mr. and Mrs. pavid Hirschi, Mrs. Susiei Stanworth and Mrs. Oliver De-, Mill, all of Hurricane, were visitors at the home of Daniel Hirschi last Monday. A number of the farmers are busy with sorghum making. There is a good crop of cane to be taken care of and some fine Dixie molasses is being made. Edward Knowlton and Mr. Lewis, state road engineers spent Sunday here going over the roads. Harvey Jackson of Toquerville accompanied them. A party of Relief Society workers spennhe 23rd in St. George doing temple work. They remained for conference, returning home Sunday night. Mrs. Mary J. Stout and Mrs. Ma-dona Ma-dona Schmidt of Portland, Oregon, are visiting at the home of Mrs. Stout's daughter, Mrs. Valeria De Mill. Mr. and Mrs. Will Bringhurst of Toquerville spent Sunday here visiting visit-ing Mrs. Bringhurst's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Orley Dalton. Mrs. Eva Stevens and children of Hurricane spent the week end here visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Dennett. Lester Dalton is home from Cedar City where he has been working for some time. Otto Jennings and Jacob Dalton left Saturday for Hinckley. Oscar DeMill made a business trip to Hurricane last week. |
