Kenneth Nichols, of Salt Lake City, arrived Sunday to spend the summer with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Fotheringham. Mrs. H. W. Peterson left the latter part of the week for Pioche, Nevada, to make her home. Ward Hood left Sunday for Salt Lake City to enter summer school at the University of Utah. Mrs. Frank White returned home from Spanish Fork Sunday after spending- a week visiting at the home of her parents. Bishop Wm. A. Miller of Beaver and wife were attending church at Milford last Sunday night. Mrs. H. F. English and daughter Miss Virginia left Monday morning for their home at Salt Lake City after spending the past three weeks visiting at the home of her son Allan English and her sister, Ms. Tom Martin. Mrs. C. L. Ford was called to Bon-ita, Bon-ita, to attend the bedside of her father fath-er who was kicked by a horse. Miss Stella Hollis returned home Sunday from Provo and Salt Lake City. John James and J. R. Brand have returned from Cobre, Nevada. Mrs. Wm. H. Broyles and children are visiting at Helper with her parents. par-ents. Gus Easton, fish and game warden, was in Milford from Beaver last week. Mrs. Grover Cuddy of Provo is visiting vis-iting in Milford for a few days this week with friends. C. T. Martin returned home Sunday Sun-day evening from lleber and Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Kail S. Carlton are spending a few days camping and fishing at the Little Reservoir in the Beaver Mountains. Theodore Kronholm, W. R. Martin and M. P. Lewis made a trip to Salt Lake and other points in that section the first of the week. Harry Ward is spending the week in Beaver where he is doing some paper hanging and painting work. Albert Johnson and Mrs. Johnson who has been guests of Mrs. Selma Carlson returned to Eureka last week. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jenning3 of Los Angeles, Calif., motored up for a vacation with friends and relatives in Utah, and are now visiting with her sister, Mrs. John Ryan of Bur-bank. Bur-bank. Mr. and Mrs. Jennings are former residents of Utah, but have for a number of years past resided in California. Delmar Kirk, who has been working work-ing in California for the last two months, came home last Tuesday night. He will return to work Sunday. Sun-day. Rita Brarifield is spending her vacation ac Caliente, Nevada, visiting friends and relatives. Miss Nina Patterson is working at the Corner Inn during her absence. Nellie Theisen returned last week ;from Salt Lake where she has been attending Westminister college, to spend her vacation. Mrs. W. L. Conger and three kiddies kid-dies of Los Angeles arrived here this week to spend the summer with Mrs. Congers folks, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Osborn. Dan Davis, Tom Mastros, Mr. and Mrs. G. T. Fitzgerald and Mrs. Ed Peterson left Tuesday morning for Fish Lake. Mrs. Murray Bohn of Beaver was rin Milford last week looking after her property interests here. |
