All had an enjoyable time. R. R. Thomas and daughter Audrey Aud-rey of North Creek called on friends and relatives here Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Perley F. Rollins left Thursday for Manti where they expect ex-pect to go through the temple and also al-so visit with friends and relatives there. Grant Murdock who has been working at Cedar City is spending a few days with his wife and family who are living at the home of Mrs. Julia K. Griffiths. BEAVER Karl Levi, Fred Levi, and Marshall Levi of Milford motored over to Circleville Cir-cleville Friday to attend the funeral of their cousin Marx Parker, son of t and old time resident of Beaver, Maxie Parker. Delphia Pamelia Scowart, 47, formerly form-erly of Salt Lake, died Sunday at her home in Long Beach, Calif., where she had resided for the last 15 years. She is survived by a sister, Mrs. Frank Low, Beaver, Utah, and an aunt, Delphia Pendleton, Salt Lake. The body was taken to Salt Lake City Monday accompanied by Mrs. Low who was with her at the time of her death. Miss Vera Tanner accompanied by her mother, Mrs. J. T. Tanner, Mrs. Ford Faux, Josephine and Clara White, and Mrs. Jane Munford drove to Salt Lake last Thursday to attend conference returning Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Williams and small son, left Monday for Caliente where they will make their future home. They were accompanied as far as Milford by Mrs. Williams' parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. John Huntington. Mr. and Mrs. Gus Fernley returned return-ed Sunday from Salt Lake where ; they have been for the past week, i They were accompanied home by their son Wendall who will spend the summer with his parents. Mr. and Mrs. R. O. Jehu of Sul-phurdale Sul-phurdale were in Salt Lake the first of the week on business. Mr. and Mrs. Dave Powell of Long! Beach, Calif., have been visitors at the home of Arnold Low. Mrs. Lottie Smith of Milford has been visiting at the home of Frank Low. Mrs. Ken Barton and children, mother, Mrs. John Huntington returned re-turned Sunday from Salt Lake where they have been the past week. Mrs. Lyle Johnson of Salt Lake City spent three days last week visiting vis-iting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Alva Thompson. Mr. Johnson is one off the U. P. Bus drivers between Salt Lake and Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Milton Rogerson left Thursday for Cedar City accompanied accompan-ied by Wm. Grimshaw who visied in Beaver the past week. Maroni Smith of Cedar City was in town Wednesday on business and spent the night' at the home of his sister, Mrs. Ezra Ashworth, returning return-ing home Thursday. Miss Margaret Wood is visiting with friends in Ogden the past week and also attended for conference in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Thelma Barton and Ruth Neilsen went to Salt Lake City to attend at-tend the mutual conference. Mrs. Alice Huntington accompanied them where she represented the primary at the conference held June 10, 11, and 12. She was the guest of Mrs. Jenkins, Jen-kins, her sister, while in the city.
