Show JUNIOR DEMOCRATS TO ORGANIZE HERE Delegates from practically every county in Utah met recently in the Old English Room of the Newhouse Hotel, Salt Lake City, for the purpose pur-pose of organizing the Junior Democratic Demo-cratic League of the State of Utah. Kathryn Smith and Ray R. Murdock represented Beaver County. John Boyden of Salt Lake City was selected select-ed as temporary chairman. The meeting meet-ing was marked by an unusual amount of enthusiasm. The Junior Democratic League of Utah is affiliated with the National Democratic Junior League, which has for its purpose the development of Democratic ideals among the youth of the nation, and the greater activity activ-ity of young people in political affairs. af-fairs. The League claims a membership member-ship of 1,000,000 young voters. It is independent of the National Democratic Demo-cratic Party. It is the plan of the State League to organize clubs in each Utah County. Coun-ty. These clubs will make possible the study and discussion of governmental govern-mental and political matters, and afford af-ford opportunity for social and educational edu-cational betterment. A mass meeting, meet-ing, especially for young people of whatever political inclination, will be held in Beaver about June 21 and at Milford at a latter date. A program is being arranged in addition to the business matters to be taken up. All are invited to attend. Watch for further announcements.
