Show Region 1 0 P.-T. A. Meet Scheduled For Here Friday Starting At 9 A. M. The P.-T. A. conference for Region Re-gion 10 will officially get underway under-way here Friday morning at 10 a.m., with Mrs. Anne N. Pace, regional director, presiding. The featured address of the morning will be given by Mrs. L. K. Nicholson, Nich-olson, state president, when she sounds a patriotic note with her subject, "Our Roll Call In the National Defense". The visitors will be officially welcomed by Supt. Milton E. Moody. Registration will start at 9 a. m., in the South ward chapel where the program will be held. Following Fol-lowing the talk by Mrs. Nicholson Nichol-son there will be a discussion led by the state officers of the P.-T. A. departments. The morning session will end at noon. Those desiring to eat their noon luncheon with the P.-T. A. members should call Mrs. Pace and make reservations be-(Continued be-(Continued on page eight) Regional P.-T. A. Afternoon Meeting The conference will reconvene at 2 p.m., with the theme, "The Value of a Parent-Teacher Organization", Org-anization", being discussed by Mrs. Edmund P. Evans, first vice president of the state P.-T. A., and Mrs. Eric A. Johnson, second elate vice president. In addition to the main talks, Mrs. Pace has arranged for many interesting program features including in-cluding short talks, community singing and solos by some of the leading talent of this community. |
