Show St. George, Cedar Rotary ; Clubs Hold Meet The St. George and Cedar Rotary clubs held their annual inter-club meeting at New Harmony on last Saturday night, when the Rotar-ians Rotar-ians again partook of one of New Harmony's famous chicken and corn banquets. Following a policy ; of inter-changing the program, St. s George was in charge of this one. 1 The Rotarians were out for a good time and long talks were I taboo. Short addresses of welcome were given by W. B. Mathis, president of the St. George club, 1 and Reed Gardner, president of t the Cedar club. Laron Andrus , was toastmaster for the occasion with ' E. W. Simmons, incoming , program chairman, assisting, with the outlining of the evening's en- i tertainment. As usual, the Rotarians called on the Rotary Anns to help them with the program and Mrs. Laron Andrus and Mrs. W. J. Reichman responded with various stunts and games. Dr. W. J. Reichman is the retiring program chairman. Dancing completed the program which the Rotarians proclaimed as "one of the usual good New Harmony Har-mony events". |
