Show BUNKERVILLE, NEV. Moapa Stake conference was held here- Saturday and Sunday, March 7 and 8. Presiding Bishop Sylvester Cannon and wife were present from iSalt Lake City. lone Robinson of Overton reported her mission in the north eastern states. A large crowd was in attendance, all wards in the stake being well represented. Mrs. Mary A. Hafen has been quite sick the past week but is much improved at this time. Harvey Sprague and wife of Pi-oche, Pi-oche, Nevada spent the week-end here. Mr. and Mrs. Vernon C. Rowley and family returned to their home in Blanding, Utah after spending two weeks here with their parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Leavitt. They also visited a week in Los Angeles. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Bunker have moved into their new home. Mr. and Mrs. Hector Bunker, Mrs. Thomas Leavitt, Mrs. John Leavitt, Mrs. Melvin Leavitt spent Tuesday working in the St. George Temple. It was the anniversary of their father's birthday! They were joined in St. George by other members of the Wittwer family. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley Hardy also went. Mrs. Woods, who spent the last few months here with her daughter, daugh-ter, Mrs. Bearnson returned to her home in Pleasant Grove on Tuesday. Mrs. Harmon Tobler and Max Hafen went to Las Vegas Monday on farm bureau work. Many people are building new chicken coops and many baby chicks are being ordered this spring. |
