Mr. Blakely, our landscape gardner, has been devoting much time to the cactus garden in the front yard, resulting in one of the best collections, of cactus and other oth-er desert species of plant life, seen in a long time. Work on the Pine Valley Dam is going along much faster now, due to the weather conditions prevalent pre-valent at that site at the present time. Snow, heavy and often, all during the past two months have curtailed the progress on this road, to the extent that it slowed it up quite a bit. On a recent inspection inspec-tion at Pine Valley by the officers, it was quite heartening to find high state of morale of the camp. |
