Show Jown . . . V Mr. and Mrs. Abe Ullock a.nd daughter Emma returned recently recent-ly ftom Norman, 'Oklahoma, where they visited Dr. and Mrs. Cluff Hopla and their three children. It was the first time the grandparents grandpar-ents and aunt had seen the youngest young-est two children. Mrs. Hopla is the former Moyra Ullock of this city. Dr. Hopla, formerly of Ma-pleton Ma-pleton is now teaching and doing research work in the University of Oklahoma in the entomology department. de-partment. The Ullocks went by way of the Royal Gorge and on returning toured Mesa Verde National Na-tional Monument, Moon and Monument Mon-ument Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Willis have had as their guests, her sister sis-ter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Kelly and their three sons of Cleveland, Ohio. It was the first visit of the sisters in 11 years. Before the arrival of the Kellys, Mrs. Willis' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ramser of Cleveland were here three weeks. Mrs. Jean Ashby enjoyed a visit from her son Roland Ashby and his two sons of San Pedro recently. re-cently. The father and one son returned and another boy, Russell stayed to visit and aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Cherrington and children. Mrs. Ellen Anderson, Mrs. Emma Em-ma Whitmore and Miss Helen Wheeler enjoyed a sight seeing trip to Moab the past week. Mr. and Mrs. Albert Smith have moved from Olmstead, Provo Canyon, to their home in Spring- ville at 136 East Second North. He has been employed with a power pow-er company and will remain in the same work traveling back and forth. Mrs. Almira Lowe has returned to her home in Springville from 1 Jerome, Ida., where she spent the three weeks with her son Stanley Lowe and family. Mr. and Mrs. Paul K. Walker attended the national convention of the high school Activities Association Asso-ciation in Grand Canyon recently. Mr. Walker represented Region Three on the Utah Board of the activities association. Utah and Arizona were hosts, at the association assoc-iation meetings attended by representatives repre-sentatives from all over the country coun-try and from Canada. Mr. and Mrs. Henry Bismark (Nadine Burt) have had a number num-ber of relatives from out of the state visiting them the past few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Buck Cureton of Hatton, Ark., returned the past week after several days at the Bismark home and Mr. and Mrs. O. L. Sanders of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mr. and Mrs. Junior Williamson William-son of Hutton, Ark., and families have also returned to their homes following a visit here. Mr. and Mrs. S. Virl Jones have had Mrs. Jones' mother, Mrs. Clara Donelson of Salt Lake City visiting them a few days. She came for the wedding of her granddaughter Valena Jones. During Dur-ing the weekend she returned to her home in Salt Lake City accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. Jones who will visit her daughter Mrs. Elaine J. Harness and family including their new baby daughter. Mrs. Emma Alleman returned recently from a visit in California with her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Sumsion (Joan Alleman) and also with a son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Alleman in San Diego. |
