Show Social Happenings Miss Pearl Jorgensen entertained a number of her girl friends at a birthday par tv at her home Sunday afternoon of last week. Games and a splendid dinner were the order of the afternoon's enjoyment. Those present were Lauretta Larson, Rachel Rach-el Gunderson, Ruby Sorensen, Stella Johanson, Velma Tidwell, Ruby Jo mson, Inez Hughes, and the hostess. Laban Gunderson gave a pleasant birthday party at his home Tuesday afternoon of last week. About a dozen boys and girls were present and the afternoon spent in games, music, and dainty refreshments. One of the big social events of the year v, as the Opening Ball of the New Social Hall at Ephraim last Friday evening. Dance, program, and delicious refreshments made an unusaily pleasant evening for all present. The Mt. Pleasant people in attendance were: Geo. Christen-sen, Christen-sen, Plumas Boyden, Hugh Jensen, Wilford Larson, Curtis Gunderson, Blaine Watson, Tressa Larson, Carol Car-ol Rasmussen, Esther Lund, Mary Peterson, Florence Wooley, Loraine Stevens, Muriel Simpson and Nellie McArthur. Mrs. John Tidwell was hostess at a dinner party at her home last Thursday Thur-sday afternoon. The affair was in honor of her fifty-second birthday. Those present were: Mesdames Brig Porter, John Johnson, Harriet Cliff, Hannah Hughes, Trena Day, Hilda Larson, C. Syndergaard Francis Brotherson, Niels Johansen, and Chas. Jensen. , . . |
