Show TIME FOR SPRAYING The prospects for fruit this year is far better than it has been for several years past; at present the it looks very favorablfe for a banner year for the fruit grower. The frosts have passed by this year without doing any damage to the trees. Now is the time to give this matter special attention and see that all trees are sprayed at once in order to protect the fruit from worms and disease. The Horticulture Law of Utah, approved March 9, 1907 prohibits pro-hibits the disposal of any fruit that will spread disease. County Horticultural Inspector Hans J. Brown reports to the Pyramid Pyr-amid that a great many have already al-ready sprayed their trees and the work has been done in a very satisfactory satis-factory manner which has accomplished accom-plished a great deal of good, especially es-pecially has this been done on the west side of the valley. He requests that the spraying be done at once all through the county so that a vigorous vigor-ous fight can be made to destroy the Codlin Moth and keep the orchards clean. |
